How Banks Secretly Create Money
It has been called "the most astounding piece of sleight of hand ever invented." The creation of money has been privatized, usurped from Congress by a private banking cartel. Most people think money is issued by fiat by the government, but that is not the case. Except for coins, which compose only about one one-thousandth of the total U.S. money supply, all of our money is now created by banks. Federal Reserve Notes (dollar bills) are issued by the Federal Reserve, a private banking corporation, and lent to the government.

Kissinger-led U.S. group attends closed debate at Putin home
A group of Russian and U.S. dignitaries gathered Friday at the presidential residence near Moscow behind closed doors in a bid to repair shattered ties.

The panel called "Russia-USA: A Look Into the Future," led by former U.S. Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger and former Russian Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov, declined to comment on the first Moscow session, but said it was a successful beginning to a series of high-level meetings.

Bill Clinton First Neocon President
Bill Clinton seems to get blamed by this neocon administration for many things, but most of all for "losing bin Laden." The ugly truth is that, in this case, they are probably right. Clinton's team probably had good information on Osama's whereabouts most of the time, since they were playing on the same team for most of Clinton's two terms. It is becoming clear from the accumulating evidence that Bill Clinton resurrected Ronald Reagan's Afghan strategy of using Islamist guerillas as his own covert foreign policy in Europe and other intransigent hot spots that seemed to be immune to normal diplomacy. Clinton's foolish toying with Islamist killers is probably the spark that ignited the international jihad against America.

Iraq Vote: "Operation Deception"
The Democratic Congress served up another bowl of political slush this week with its latest vote on Iraq, designed to isolate Republicans in November 2008.

Fortunately, no one seems to be paying much attention this time partly because the Bush press conference on the Iraq interim progress report overshadowed it in the news, but mostly because more people in the peace movement are getting wise to their game.
